Google Layoff - Google likely to layoff 10000 employees

As per media reports, Google is likely to layoff more than 10000 employees. These 10000 employees are temporary workers of Google.
Google has not comment on this yet.
Google’s revenue and profit were up in the third quarter of 2008 despite of economic slowdown.
As per reports, Google has around 20,123 employees and around 10,000 contract [...]

infosys firing, tcs firing & wipro firing - IT companies layoff

As per economical times, global financial markets crisis can result in the loss of as many as 20,000 to 25,000 jobs in India and ET says that TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro and Satyam will announce huge lay-offs over the next couple of quarters.
There are no such news about Infosys firing, TCS firing or HCL  now. [...]
