What is the socalled Perseid Meteor Shower? Perseids Meteor shower in India is visible on August 12.
As per scientists, The Perseid Meteor Shower is the phenomena of falling stars as Earth passes through a trail of dusty debris from the Swift-Tuttle Comment.

This Perseid meteor shower kicks off each year in late July and increases in intensity and peaking a couple of weeks later. That means it will be visible on August 12 and August 13 2009 this year.
