Indian Navy and Coast Guards detained the alleged Motherships – Al-Kabeer and MV Alpha – of terrorists today. It is suspected that these ships (Al Kabeer and MV Alpha) may have carried the motorboats and terrorists to Mumbai.
M V Alpha was found around 112 km from Mumbai by the Coast Guard on Thursday.
As per TV reports credits cards with photos of terrorists were found from one of the ship. Also explosives were found from the ships.
Indian Navy and Coast Guards were intensified vigil in the Gujarat waters.
“We have received orders from our headquarters to increase the vigil in the sea following the terror strikes in Mumbai. Our men have intensified the patrolling along the Gujarat coastline and are keeping close watch on every movement,” said Commander Coast Guard, Gujarat, Satish Chandran.
