Google has recently announced about the launch of their new search functionality – Google SearchWiki.

What is this so called Google SearchWiki?

Google SearchWiki is all about to customize your search results that appear on your google search engine. You can easily customize search by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results.

If your account is not activated for Google SearchWiki, you can visit Wikia Search and you will be able to understand what is Google SearchWiki. I don’t know whether google has acquired Wikia Search or not.

Is Google SearchWiki a good feature by Google?

There are mixed reactions from around the world about Google SearchWiki. In my opinion, it is not a good feature by the Google. I always like the clean search results page by Google. Now there will be many arrows and comments by other people. As of now this feature cannot be disabled once you have opted in. Also there are reports about problems of searchWiki.

Google SearchWiki feature will make google search into a Digg-like forum.
